Dear Cory and Nick, Thanks again for a great result!
About a year ago, my mother decided to sell the house in Canberra in which she and my father raised their family. The house was a new build home when my parents purchased it in 1968, and a granny flat was added about 30 years ago.
It was in an excellent location at the end of a cul de sac, adjacent a park, and with an engaging panoramic view, though the house was showing its age. My mother sought assistance from my brothers and me with the sale.
That was not straight forward because we each live more than 3 hours from Canberra. We sought opinions from several real estate agents in Canberra, and each recommended a credible though different approach to sale of the house.
After some consideration, my mother selected sale by auction and engaged you as the sole agents. You sold the house at the fall of the hammer for a good price within the range that you had forecast. That happened 9 months ago, and at that time we were all very happy with both the lead up to sale and the result.
I’m writing now to let you know that we remain just as satisfied as we were on auction day, and to thank you again for delivering a most rewarding outcome. At the time we selected you, we were attracted to the rationale behind your initial advice and proposal to us, and your willingness to work with the house as it was. Following engaging you, we were impressed with your diligence in displaying the house to and following up with prospective purchasers, and the effectiveness with which you kept us up to date with interest in the property.
We especially valued your forthright counsel during the sale process. As the preparations for sale and home open period progressed, we observed much of what you forecast came to pass.
Looking back with the benefit of hindsight, we remain quite confident that our initial decision to engage you was most influential in achieving a sale in which we continue to be very satisfied. Thanks again to you and your office team for your great efforts on our behalf.
